Catholic cemeteries are blessed grounds, which welcomes beloved deceased in hope of resurrection. These consecrated grounds allow families and friends to honor the memory of those who departed from this life. As well as serving the Catholic community, Hope Cemetery welcomes anyone who desires to be buried in this sacred place. In the name of catholic values, Hope Cemetery offers products and services focused on the needs of families as they are grieving in difficult times.

Services

Interment Rights: Here at the cemetery, families purchase interment rights for the deceased. Those rights are applied on a lot, a niche or a crypt.

In addition to interment rights, the right holder can commemorate the memory of the deceased with a tomb stone or a commemorative inscription. In the case where the right holder passes on, those rights are transferred to an heir or any other designated person.

In Ontario the interment rights are granted in perpetuity.

Interment Options: Reflecting its modern identity, Hope Cemetery offers various types of interment options. With traditional ground burials, our Holy Family Mausoleum which offers interior and exterior niche availability, and interior and exterior entombment availability, along with future projects being undertaken, we will continue to provide families with burial options for generations to come.

Traditional Ground Burials: Our cemetery offers families options concerning traditional ground burial. The landscape allows for various dimensions of single grave lots and/or double grave lots where casket and/or urn burials can be accommodated.

Niches: Since the early 1960s, cremation has become another option for Catholics. Because cremated remains need to be treated with dignity and respect, the Church encourages the faithful to inter the remains. Along with interring the cremated remains in consecrated grounds, we offer the selection of interior or exterior niches within the Holy Family Mausoleum where cremated remains may be placed for their final resting place. Our interior niches have marble or glass fronts, and our exterior niches have granite fronts.

Crypts: A crypt is a space reserved for the entombment of a casket. A mausoleum is a building containing crypts for the entombment of the deceased. Here at Hope Cemetery, our Holy Family Mausoleum, under the patronage of the Holy Family, offers individuals and families interior or exterior entombments. The interior crypts have marble fronts, and the exterior crypts have granite fronts.

Monuments: At our office you will be able to find an array of monuments and bronze markers. Our counselors are here to guide and assist you during your selection.
Urns: You will find a variety of quality urns at our locations.

Ornaments – bronze

Vases: Because our by-laws discourage placing real flowers on a grave or at the niches, we have an assortment of vases which can be used to hold beautiful artificial flower arrangements.

Vaults: To protect an in-ground casket or in-ground urn from the earth’s natural elements a vault could be used.
